Ross Trophy Outfitters provides trophy class Whitetail Deer hunts. All hunts will be from lock-on tree stands and ladder stands. Rifle hunting will include some spot and stalk hunts. Rifle hunts will only have a limited number of hunters up to 5 per week. There will be six to eight hunters in camp for each 5-day bow hunt.
The area hunted will be along the Arkansas River. It consists of cottonwood trees and plum thickets with sage and prairie grass growing in clearings scattered along the river. These areas hold some world class deer. Ross Trophy Outfitters promotes the taking of only mature Whitetails.
We will provide lodging, professional guide service and taxidermy preparation. Clients will be taken to and from their stands. Our main goal here at Ross Trophy Outfitters is to provide excellent service and a hunting experience to last.
Restrictions:
1. Bucks must be mature and hold Mass through out their beams. Management fee of $750 for bucks not making this minimum. Any deer over 5-1/2 years old: no fee
2. Limit: one buck and mature doe with tags.
4. Cross bows allowed only for upper-limb physically disabled individuals
5. We hunt any animal from which you draw blood until the animal is down or we are confident that the animal will live. These decisions are made with the guide. If you draw blood once, It is the decision of the Outfitter whether or not your hunt continues.
